Ingredients
1 1/2cupsripe bananasmashed (about 2 large bananas or 3-4 medium bananas)
In a large bowl, whisk together bananas, peanut butter, maple syrup, egg, vanilla.
1 1/2 cups ripe bananas, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tbsp vanilla, 3/4 cups creamy peanut butter, 1 large egg
Combine together until a soft batter forms.
Mix in the chocolate chips.
3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Transfer into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool, then slice and enjoy!
Notes
Peanut butter: You may use creamy or crunchy peanut butter. Do not use natural peanut butter, it is too runny and won't work!Maple syrup: Table syrup or honey also works great if you don't have any maple syrup on hand.Oats: Rolled oats give a chewier bar, but quick oats also work! They will give them a softer texture.
