If you love banana bread, you’ll love this easy Banana Chocolate Bake! Made with ripe bananas, oats, rich chocolate, and simple ingredients, it's a soft bake that's the perfect mix of banana bread, baked oats, and chocolate cake. It’s cozy, chocolatey, and perfect for meal prep or dessert!
Mix in the dry ingredients until no more flour streaks appear, then mix in the chocolate chips. The batter will be liquidy.
3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Transfer into the prepared pan and spread evenly, then sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
Bake for 40-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out fudgy, and not raw batter.
Allow to cool completely, then slice and enjoy! As it cools, the bake sets, so if you slice warm it will fall apart (it'll still be delicious though!)
Notes
Oats: Make sure to use large flake oats, or rolled oats, as they absorb the liquid best in this recipe. This recipe is very liquid-based, so I believe quick oats would be to small and won't be able to absorb as well.
