This Giant Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie is the type of cookie you make when you're only allowed 'one' cookie! The cookie dough is full of brown sugar and chocolate chips. Bite into it and you're met with Nutella hazelnut goodness.

Why have a regular sized cookie when you can make a giant one!? This giant cookie is way easier to make than a dozen regular sized ones.
Instead of scooping into twelve individual cookies, the dough is split in two. The first half is flattened and filled with Nutella, and the second half is placed on top to seal it all together! It's then placed in the middle of the pan and baked to perfection.

Why this recipe works
- Giant - this is one giant delicious cookie.
- Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate - where my chocolate lovers at!?
- Stuffed - it's stuffed with sweet Nutella.
- No chill time - as an impatient baker, this one is so important!
Key Ingredients
Full recipe and ingredients are in the recipe card below. Feel free to scroll through this section to view the five ingredients we’re using!
Butter - Unsalted. This will be melted.
Chocolate chips - Semi-sweet are used. Dark may be used as well, but milk will be too sweet. You may also omit it completely!
Nutella - I used the regular Nutella brand, but a store-brand works too. This is used to stuff the cookie.

Step by Step Instructions
Here is how to make and bake this Giant Nutella Stuffed Cookie. You will need one tray lined with parchment paper, a large mixing bowl, a spatula, a whisk, and a standard ice cream scoop.
Step 1 - In a small bowl whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, and white sugar.

Step 2 - Add in egg yolk and vanilla and continue whisking.

Step 3 - Fold in baking soda and flour until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix!
Step 4 - Add in chocolate chips.

Step 5 - Divide the dough in half. With the first half, press into a flat circle, sort of resembling a burger patty. Place onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Step 6 - Create a small indent in the middle and push up on the sides, leaving the bottom still thick. If the bottom is thin, the Nutella will melt through! Scoop 2 tablespoons of Nutella into the middle.

Step 7 - Gently flatten the remaining dough and place it on top. Seal the cookie with your fingers, making sure there is no Nutella showing.
Step 8 - Bake at 350°F for 15-17 minutes or until the edges look golden brown. The center will look soft.

Step 9 - Allow to cool on the baking tray for an additional 15-20 minutes. The warmth from the tray will allow the cookie to continue to bake!
Step 10 - Serve in slices, whole, or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!

Expert Baking Tips
Here are five awesome baking tips from my kitchen to yours
- Brown the butter for next level baking!
- Substitute the Nutella for cookie butter, almond butter, or peanut butter!
- Completely seal the cookie all the way around! If not, the Nutella will melt out!
- The indent of the cookie must be thick. When pressing down and creating the indent, make sure you don't make it to thin! It's got to support the Nutella filling.
- Use flakey sea salt on top to balance the sweetness!
