In a large bowl, whisk cooled butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla and whisk in.
3/4 cups unsalted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup white sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tbsp vanilla
Add in the dry ingredients and mix until a soft cookie dough forms. Don't over-mix!
Add in the leftover halloween candy and mix in a few times.
Transfer into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Add extra chocolate on top if desired.
Bake for 30-45 minutes. Mine took 40 minutes exactly. The cookie bars will be ready when the edges are a golden brown, but the middle will look very soft. Remove from oven, let the cookie bars cool in the pan.
When ready, slice and enjoy!
