Espresso chocolate chip cookies are made with browned butter and espresso grounds. They have pockets of gooey chocolate. The best cookies for coffee lovers!

STEP 1: Whisk together   brown butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and espresso.

STEP 2: Add in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.

STEP 3: Fold in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

STEP 4: Toss in chocolate chips and chunks.

STEP 5: Scoop 6 cookies onto each tray.

STEP 6: Bake for 13-14 minutes until crisp golden edges form.

STEP 7: Sprinkle sea salt flakes if desired and enjoy!
